The Awesome Week

Well, on Monday I played outside with my friends: Lilli, Sark, Henry, Harper, Sasha, Lucia, and Priyanka. Then I went to Kumon. It was really, really very easy. I am working on multiplication and past tense verbs. 

On Wednesday, I went to writing club. We wrote a story on a computer. I finally finished my fashion story (Mom will post it when the school magazine comes home). I started a new poem line story; I came up with it. It is a big line through the middle of the page not touching the top or bottom. You put squares on the sides and you write small poems inside the squares. The poems are on the same topic, and when you put the poems together, you get a small story. And on Wednesday I had basketball practice. I did something really hard; I, me, had 2 balls while jumping throughout a football runner, like hopscotch, while dribbling the 2 balls! It was hard.

On Thursday, I went to basketball again. Then I had a community group party. We ate spaghetti and macaroni. I made a craft; sunflowers to be specific with my young friends, Jazzi and Jrew.

Friday was active. I went to marathon training and ran 2 miles. I also went to triathlon practice. We worked on swimming. I swam super fast. I had to go around many people. 

Saturday, my mom ran a half marathon. She did a great, wonderful, great job. She had to run in the rain, and I had to stand in the rain. But my friend, Priyanka (from Monday), come over at 6:30am to play while her dad also ran. So, we watched part of the marathon and got many high fives and frozen feet. When we got to my house, Priyanka took a shower, and I drank some hot tea. Then I took a shower, and she drank hot cocoa. After 2 hours, my friends, Henry and Harper (my neighbors and from Monday), came over to eat lunch and play. We ate hamburgers and hot dogs that Papa grilled in the rain. 

SUNDAY! I had my marathon. I was the second girl over the finish line for Eakin. I am so proud of me. I received many things after the race: pretzels, cookies, apples, oranges, a bag, and a MEDAL. The medal is shaped like a guitar and heavy. I also had dinner at my neighbors', Marcie and Steve, house. We ate steak, chicken, veggies, bread, and chocolate cake. I played with horses and a stable. I got Steve to buy a horse.

It was all great. We had a busy, exciting week!
